Beset By Faded Inscriptions
passions were ignited
by firelight
candles died
and were invited
to become shadows
or frosted patches on the trees
the bubbling sounds
and water borne bugs
dancing, late
on kirlian silhouettes,
by day
fire dances
motions, humming, bright
and forces
that laugh at us
in our twilight
radiate for no meaning
shine, fighting back
no darkness without
some laughter
beset.
