someone recently commented about how my work with plants is a lot about showing various stages of birth and death, with some heroic qualities.

but no comment on blog? hmmmm?

I think the plants and animals are far more nobler, even in their savagery, than man will ever be. end soapbox...

its been a while but it sounds like Ricky Gervais is STILL pissed off about his pop music career not taking off in the 1980s. You thought his Golden Globes hosting was bad-at least you didn't have to suffer through one of his albums. Dreck!!

Jack LaLanne

RIP Jack LaLanne. a regular guy who LOVED what he did and helped make A LOT of people take better care of themselves. I remember as a kid how he looked in my brother's muscle and fitness magazine. and he was in his 70s by then. I hope wherever you are there is a juicer and a comfy chair waiting for Betty when she gets there. Thanks for everything!

From my recent 'on foot' portion of my trip over pacific heights courtesy of some crazy drunk woman on the 24. squeezing lemonade out of lemons, I STILL managed to nab some great pictures(I think so anyway). And to the crazy woman-I hope you found somebody to "take you home tonight , baaaaayby"-hopefully they live in an asylum!!

And its just as fitting that as of this evening, my dell laptop appears to be up and running again. There are 4 operating computers here - One mac I'll call Father Time and another that should be called whippersnapper and two PC laptops. The aforementioned Dell and a IBM Thinkpad.

Its a photo comp using lights-and though that is nothing new, this time around I wanted to incorporate motion in a way I haven't for some time.
